Speech Title: Servitization of Regions
YANCY VAILLANT. Full Professor, Toulouse Business School (TBS). Yancy Vaillant (PhD) is Professor in the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in the Toulouse Business School (TBS), and visiting Associate Professor in the Departamento de GestiĆ³n Organizacional, Universidad de la Costa (Colombia). He chaired the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for Catalonia between 2009 and 2013. He acts as an external consultant for the OECD on topics related to territorial policy and governance. He has also participated in several research projects for European or Spanish administrations that study and formulate policy recommendations in areas related to territorial strategy, entrepreneurship and the promotion of innovation-based development. His research has been published in, among others, International Journal of Production Economics, Regional Studies, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, and Technovation.

Speech Title: Product innovation, service business model innovation and their impact on performance
IVANKA VISNJIC. Assistant Professor, ESADE Business School. Ivanka’s research and consulting activities are focused on business model innovation of established companies, such as shift to services and solution business models and open business models. Her research has been published in prestigious academic journals, California Management Review, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management and International Journal of Production Economics. In past, Ivanka worked at a consulting firm McKinsey & Co, completed a PhD at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, acted as a Research Lead at Cambridge Service Alliance, University of Cambridge and held a Visiting Scholar post at London Business School and at Haas Business School, UC Berkley. Ivanka has been working closely with top management of a number of global companies, such as Atlas Copco, BAE Systems, Caterpillar, GEA, IBM, Pearson and Zoetis.
